The Subtle Difference

Hobbies aren't something to ignore. Hobbies are survival.

Everyone may or may not have a talent. Someone may or may not work on that talent. And only rare take it up as a profession. Performing on the stage, or unleashing your creativity takes a lot of courage. We are human beings, after all. WE ALL WANT APPROVAL FOR OUR TALENT. We seek appreciation for it, or we may sideline it. Which is why, I have a point -

Surround yourselves with people who encourage you, for your own little hobbies. Someone who asks you about it. Someone who shows interest. Or how else would you grow?


Not everything in this world is SELF-ORIENTED. For once, we need emotional support in life.
If you have found it, KEEP IT. Take their feedback, take criticism, but make sure it is only in a positive light.

There is a subtle difference between being demeaned, or facing negative feedback. Between constructive criticism and useless criticism. See, there are 3 kinds of people you could be with, in case of negative feedbacks:

Someone who criticizes your work, so you do better at it.
Someone who is blatantly ignorant of what you do.
Someone who criticizes your work, so you STOP.

Which one are you with?

In the Lies

There are a thousand ways we imagine things could conspire to be. Yet when the outcome turns to be the one we didn't want, we begin to break down.  We begin to hate the chances taken. We begin to hate the efforts that we put in. We regret.  Sometimes, it is difficult to say that the fate of our lives is in our hands. That we are the master of our world. Are they People or Snakes?

We have figured it out wrong. Bustling on the roads, sipping our coffees, Smoking cigarettes, partying on weekends, Spending our money on things that don't matter, Like the new shoes, or Maybe the new Dress, The pretty girl with a fake accent is Busy, busy being anxious about her fashion choices, because well, she got it all figured wrong. Yet, she thinks she knows it all, while hidden insecurities, she believes her fake personality is top-notch. So many people in meaningless gibberish Wishing to stay updated with the world facts, to become so opinionated that they can interact about everything that exists, But what are these opinions for by-the-way, If the people you talk to, don't wish to talk to you anyway? And then, come those who wish to align with the world Fight for their society, or the well-being, Such that they are willing to take laws into their own hands, Use their provoking skills to thrash someone in a  mob, who did maybe a wrong. Being a Slave to AI?

 Last night I was binge watching Netflix, because I have my accounting exam. Who wants to study that, eh? In the middle of the two idiotic rom-coms, I also saw a documentary "The Social Dilemma".   When you find it on your Netflix feed, by the name itself you shall think, "Oh! It is going to tell us how internet is scary and etc etc.," and you'll continue to scroll the feed to watch something else. Why? Because YOU cannot face the truth, that the SOCIAL PLATFORMS where you want to spend so much time on, are actually owning you?
